I enjoy a broad range of animal and plant species, drawn to their unique (and sometimes extreme) adaptations, behaviors, and interactions. To address our role in better cohabitating and preserving biodiversity, I seek projects on species distribution across spatial and temporal scales, animal movements, and identifying their influencing factors.

At Uni Bern, I'm completing a master's thesis with the Alpine Bird Project. We are using high-resolution mapping of surface temperatures and ground surveys of micro refugia and vegetation to identify crucial habitat features and responses to climate change by Rock ptarmigans (Lagopus muta helvetica) and partridges (Alectoris graeca). We pair these data with real-time location points of these birds species via GPS tracking devices.
