Research

I am a conservation biologist with broad interests in carnivore ecology and conservation. My research focuses on understanding their spatial ecology, population dynamics and community interactions in both natural and human-dominated landscapes. I primarily use non-invasive survey methods, particularly camera trapping, for population monitoring. Additionally, I am interested in exploring the broader biodiversity benefits of carnivore conservation. My work emphasizes on applied research to inform policy and conservation action. I am currently focusing on large carnivore recovery in the Swiss Alps and the interactions with their prey communities. Previously, I worked in Namibia with the Cheetah Conservation Fund.

Current project

Spatio-temporal relationships between large carnivores and their ungulate prey.
